It's a shame the niche isn't as highly regarded, because I would love to offer my content at lower prices to all, however I plan on being here permanently. And that means being able to sustain myself with my work. It gives me the time to fully concentrate on every audio.

Higher prices enable us to provide high quality content. Lower prices would lead to extremely low revenue, especially since Somni has a website to upkeep, and pays for vocal tallent, costing a lot to produce each file. I myself, have considered lowering my prices to attract more patrons, however, firstly, this is not easy to achieve on patreon. I'd have to wipe the tier, kick everyone off them, re-create the tiers an then explain this to everyone. Secondly, after conducting extensive research, I've discovered that creators in this niche with subscription products rarely ever get the number of subscribers to sustain sufficient income, even with cheap entry prices. This inevitably leads to the creator giving up, or moving on to other ventures due to their inability to sustain themselves with their work. If a time comes where more people flow into this niche, that would be the time to drop prices. However dropping prices before this could prove to be a bad decision. It's a risk Somni has had difficulty maintaining consistency recently due to difficulty securing vocal tallent, however with her latest work, it seems like they're back for good, experimenting with new ideas to keep the content flowing.
