Because mythologies' champions can indeed act as proxies for their respective gods, representing their will or domain in the mortal realm. They are often chosen or empowered by a god to carry out specific tasks, act as their emissaries, or embody their power. ๐ค Of course I'd like a fictional story that uses IRL Cold War proxy conflicts to feel relatable.๐
