Bro your entry can have a question but must also have an argument

Australia Hey Man, I'm heading to Hokkaido and North of Japan for August for some long service leave and unfortunately I'm a pale Australian of 35, 165m and single....and not looking for anything (please believe me). How do avoid being the creepy foreigner while enjoying the north everyone seems to enjoy/ignore?

Hey, love your videos! I just wanted to say that all of your old(ish) uncut/uncensored video that were accessible via Vimeo are not available to view anymore. I am new to this community so if you talked about this at some point or gave an explanation as to why that is the case then I am sorry to bother you, but since it is the primary reason that I joined this patreon, I would really like to see them at some point. Thanks! -a new fan

Fair point! I’ve only watched the anime.

Filth Lobster

Only answer this entry if you’ve seen the latest Ghibli. The Boy and the Heron was a huge letdown. The first act is filler, story meanders, Mc has boring personality, the message Miyazaki made of himself has no relevance to actual story. The plot twist boosted this movie from a 4 to a 5/10. Definitely not the best movie since Spirited Away, i dare say the worst film of Ghibli and 2023.

Androo Gnoix

Manga or anime or both?

Androo Gnoix

They interacted through charming writing. My problem was that the freaky Friday stuff was not even half the movie, the stuff people went to see it for. Even if it did do that, what can be done in just a movie is not comparable to a tv show

Androo Gnoix

HxH should’ve ended after Greed Island. The entire Chimera Ant Arc is paced worse than DBZ and just feels like bad satire of the entire genre. Palm is low key hot though.

Filth Lobster

100% true. Bandai Namco over the past 7ish years has released banger after banger with Dragon Ball video games. Bandi has found great studios to develop the dragon ball games while inversely shafting other series like naruto and one piece with awful arena fighters.

Soviet_Man

Your Name is extremely overrated as a romance anime. The time travel mechanic didn't make sense and was confusing, the romance wasn't interesting or particularly developed as the 2 leads barely interacted which made it hard to understand why they liked each other. I heard that this was the best romance anime movie and was excited to watch however I ended getting slapped with a 5/10 at best movie. While I appreciate that fact that this movie exposed more anime fans to the anime romance genre, I think the movie is overrated when you look at the hype around it compared to better romance anime that do not get nearly the same level of attention. One of the best examples is fruits baskets, an incredible show with developed characters and a great message that no ever talks about.

Soviet_Man

Trigun is a better show than Cowboy Bebop, both shows have a similar story but the way each episode tests Vash's morals and ideals to the point of it breaking down Vash and idealism being the only thing left the characters are fighting for towards the end. Compared to Spike's journey of facing the past with nothing to lose at the end of bebop, I prefer Vash's will to embrace the past by clinging on to his ideals taught to him. Also the setting and music rocks, but that's just preference

Wicked_Nature

Is it ONLY good that way?

Androo Gnoix

Dragon Ball is the only anime franchise that makes good video games, the games are still being played nowadays even the old ones. Sure Naruto has some good games but now the new ones are buttchecks

A new looney tunes is coming out this year. It’s “Disney cell animation”. Made me think that TMS worked on animaniacs and Batman. Disney had their own studio in Japan. Doraemon, Pokémon, and Lupin 3rd have 3d 24fps movies. Rankin-bass movies were Japanese. 80’s cartoons made by America or Japan looked the same. I think Japan should be making just as much content that doesn’t “feel anime”, so we can laugh at weebs who won’t call it anime.

spaghetti with ketchup is reaaaally good together. i'm talking about spaghetti with just ketchup, only ketchup, nothing else. if having no sauce at home, but you got ketchup, it makes a cheaper option than ordering take-out! don't judge until you try it~

Over the past Years there has been way to many cases of anime being overly hyped up to the point that it overshadowed a lot of very interesting concepts. A few examples would be Sonny Boy which was regarded as bad at first but after some people finally gave it a chance after it ended got fairly popular. Another example would be the story telling of Helck which was also very good in my Opinion but so many people got out after the first episode or because of its artstyle. Would you agree on that trend or do you think that there are the so called "hidden gems" for a reason?

Izayoi ArcLight

The more popular anime gets the more boring the stories are. In this past two years there have 4-ish or so new releases that actually had an interesting story, or a familiar story with a great character details or world building that makes it feel new even if it isn't. All other ones are a rehash of a familiar story without changing much, without great characters, without great world building. It's seriously boring.

I think Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE is one of the best Gundam shows in recent times, with a surprisingly mature story with a great main casts who grow from a bunch of estranged, broken individuals into a team of people who have learned to accept each other and work together despite their differences Re:RISE is Way, WAY better than it had any right to be, and in some ways I think Re:RISE did a much better job of utilizing its 26 episodes run time to deliver a satisfying story than Witch From Mercury.

Aerial Convoy

That is bold. fandoms that have changed, fandoms of other languages, online vs irl (even completely offline), sub-fandoms, all of that and combinations of those is all Gacha?

Androo Gnoix

Anime original series are better than anime series based on pre-existing materials like manga and light novel. They have the advantage where there's no existing fandom to hype up series from its source material. While manga and light novel adaptations are the norm of the anime world, anime originals bring an abundance of interesting ideas like character development, world building, and storytelling. Examples like Gurren Lagann, Kill La Kill and Psycho Pass are shows that not many anime has attempted to deviate from genres like isekai or harem. Even if they have questionable endings, I feel they bring an overall experience that many anime fans want to see more of.

I think Gintama has aged well and is still pretty funny to this day and is still a good competitor against modern comedy anime’s.

Perkinator117

Dan Da Dan has the best art in the shounen genre. There is not another manga out there in that genre with a more creative style and the way it incapsulates perspective and motion is second to none. Combine all that with great splash pages, some of the best character and monster designs in years, and a ton of technical skill, you get the masterpiece of art that is dan da dan. sry opm fans

bunger

With out Gundam's success we wouldn't have the meca ganera as we know it

Jeramiah Michaud

Otome villainess isekai anime are far better than 90% of other isekai out there. Even though they all follow a similar structure, every villainess mc feels extremely unique to each other rather than most modern isekai protagonists who can be interchanged with each other and the story will still feel the same

Corbyn Mejia

Ranma is the GOATed 90s anime that no one talks about.

Stefan

The better a manga is, the less likely it should be adapted into an anime (Berzerk, Vangabond, Punpun, etc). Light Novels actually make better source material for anime because they don't have the existing visual elements of manga that will inevitably be compared to the anime.

Blake Kercovich

The Gacha fandom is the worst fandom out of all of the fandoms.

Broda4Life

The Rumbling and Under the Tree are the worst Attack on Titan anime openings and beyond that are contenders for the worst anime openings of all time.

Bruh Moment

My First Girlfriend is a Gal by no means is it a good anime but it's without question a good trashy anime if you know what I mean.

Joshua

Flame of Recca is a very underrated shounen that deserves more love.

Rin

Watching a Trash Taste debate is just watching a episode of Deathnote with a third protagonist, Change my mind!

Gemsly M

Which Gamer Sups flavor is your favorite? (Been addicted to it ever since discovering them through Trash Taste episodes & was curious on your favorite to give a try if I haven't had your favorite yet)
