I saw the video now. 7 is overrated but straight up bad? Recently trash taste talked about why it's great, cdawg played it blind and no rose tinted glasses made him love it, it was just the gameplay and story and music.

2024-01-08 03:03:10 +0000 UTCI hated the One Piece live action. It had terrible pacing, a lot of the flashbacks are all messed up. For Zoro it doesn't make sense why Koushirou gave him Kuina's sword. Kuina seemed to hate him. . Having Zoro's backstory happen in Usopp's arc made it so that you didn't care about Usopp at all. By the way that the arc progressed you would have expected Kaya to be the one to join the Strawhats. Also, if you're going to put that much fucking emphasis on Mihawk… why not have Zoro's backstory there? By eliminating Don Krieg's involvement in Baratie, Sanji doesn't have any reason to join the Strawhats. Like for real, a fight with Zeff and cry baby Sanji wants to suddenly become a pirate? Nah. Nami's arc just fell flat, the changes that they made to it on paper ahouldn't have affected it but man, I didn't cry and when I watched this the frist time in the anime I was bawling my eyes out. and probably the shit that bothered me the most about it… I didn't care for the B story line. They changed Garp from his strict but silly persona to blood thirsty for Luffy, to then have him what? say kidding i was just testing you! I sent the best swordsman in the world to kill you but Jk! The moments between Helmeppo and Coby are fun but still. The storyline with them felt more like an interruption to the main storyline than anything else. Seriously had the b plot not been part of the LA the main story could have been better. Rushed still but better. These are some of the biggest gripes I have with the LA. The rest of the issues I have with it are some of the actors. Like bruv, in Luffy's backstory during the fight scene between the bandits and the Red Hair Pirates, right after the Yassop gunshot you can see Beckman kicking down another of the bandits, and YOU CAN SEE an actor trying not to hurt another actor. That actually killed this fight scene sequence for me, I'm actually surprised at how well received it was~ I am so afraid for what's coming. What's going to be the side plotline while we get Chopper? What's Chopper even going to look like. >_<

It's kinda hard to make perfect mystery where every iq level will be satisfied with the answer based off how many clues they got. I think giving obvious clues is better than doing an asspull anyways. The show was about the friendship with Kayo. Dragging the show out to defeat the villain or for Kayo to “fall in love” with Satoru again would be dumb.

2024-01-07 13:18:05 +0000 UTCI think Final Fantasy VII is overrated. Played most of the games in the FF series at this point and I think FFVI and FFIX were superior. The cast for VII I never found all that interesting and I have more moments that I remember from other games such as the opera from VI and the bridge from V. And the whole scene with Aerith and Sephiroth wasn’t a surprise, it was spoiled on the back of the box. It just feels that everyone looks at it through rose tinted glasses. For the record, I started with VIII.

Each arc reflecting emotions and certain emotions with Substitute Soul Reaper being about Grieve or Soul Society being about Resolve then Fullbring arc about inner turmoil. That’s not including about hollow ichigo and I think many people overlook the series compared to One piece and naruto and skip for having a slow start and first two filler arcs being boring.

However I feel like the series was ruined for me for not only how long it took for it to finally come out but because of how almost all of Isekai is borderline shit except for a select few that are great.

But the entry barrier of listening to the songs, reading the manga and novels, can make it seem daunting and for people who do deep dives to understand all the lore (like me) I can see how it becomes taxing to newcomers. But if you want to watch it please do so, it is a wonderful anime.

Abroad in Japan has shown some historical or unique buildings that are set to be demolished, Harajuku Station looked beautiful and unique and suited the area, and now it's a glass box that looks like it was made in a production line. To a foreigner, it seems weird that Japan doesn't at least save historical buildings and places from the meji - showa buildings

I'm sure there are shows that, by themselves, are good that are just among a wide sea of other shows with the same idea. A lot of genres that suffer from this (an example being isekai anime) could just be fixed by having more variety and creative direction.

It felt like a better animated dragon ball fight, but not in the good way, but in the brain rot way of watching power ups for 3 episodes straight. - Half the cast should be twelve feet under after that fight. But nooooo, I can rearrange my organs so I don’t die when I get stabbed in the heart. - Didn’t need like 2 episodes dedicated to villain backstory - The pillars are the best characters, but we get minimal to zero backstory on them so it makes it difficult to care. Did not get enough of Uzui. - Overall story was boring Sword Village Arc: - Same reasons as above + add two more boring factors to it
