Fun fact: the a110 existed wayyyy back in 1973 and used to compete in world rally championship (WRC) Same championship what takumi caused his retirement. So the first time I saw sawatari using an a110 tells me that he's onto something with some heat for the rest of the rounds. (Correct me if in wrong y'all about information) Oh yeah the old A110 Used to compete in Group B. And we all know Group B is where there are no restrictions and where spectators are your basically "guardrails"

2026-03-14 18:43:15 +0000 UTCAs we've seen from yashio in the lotus elise in race 2 having a clutch does give more car control, as we all know kicking in the clutch mid spin was the thing that made takumi win his final race after the new engine blew and also paddle shifters with dual clutch are heaver than 3 pedal shifters with a manual clutch

2026-03-14 04:30:32 +0000 UTCI think the animators and script writers know that the audience ain't really vibing with the Sawatari + Sana sexual stuff, because the only thing they cut from the manga chapters here was her scenes. In 176 she says, after remarking that Sawatari didn't eat his lunch, "...And we didn't go to a hotel for some fun, like usual. I was so ready for that!" Then, in 177, before Sawatari laughs and says the pressure is gone, she continues to say "I'll cheer you up after the race so get home safe," then the narrator notes "Sana's always cutting school, can she even graduate?" Sana then stares at the reader and says "So what if I'm not smart, being cute matters more. I'm going to be Kou-kun's bride anyway, so..." They also added some anime-only lines for Kitihara too, so that's cool.
