The power of VCF, the viewer really put me on to some real good series that I know I personally wouldn't of found myself of clicked on. I really wasn't expecting too much either beyond learning guitar or doing band activities. Funny part is 10% of the show is actually them playing music, it's just really good characters hanging out most of the time. The personality and jokes added to this show really made it fun to watch. Especially the Hitori part like you said. This had to be written by an introvert because some of these feelings and in your head thoughts be spot on, but making it comedic instead of serious toned makes it even better. lol And yeah I feel like Covid really changed the whole world on how we socialize and interact. I be making up whole fake scenarios in my head too 🤣

I love the depth beneath every single conversation while also feeling natural and like it could be a convo irl. I could really go in depth to each line but I won't bore you. Hitori's introversion is exaggerated yes, but it's sheer relatability in most of it speaks to me, and it did to you as well it seems. I went to college during Covid, so I felt some of her fears in my heart. And the way she monologues in her head with those daydreams I had to go and check I didn't get my brain donated to a manga company at some point lol. Excited for more of this going forward, since I tend to love slice of life. And I know my playlist going to get some bangers aha

This Bocchi show has Good vibes and good characters that carry the whole show. This is one of them shows they made the personalities so strong that the whole episode could be them talking in a room and I know it'd still be funny and good. No wonder Frieren is getting so much praise as well, I feel like making the characters and situations fun is everything.

2026-02-12 22:06:57 +0000 UTCThis show was directed by newcomer Keiichirou Saitou, who went on to direct Frieren. He was praised for how creative he is with relatively dry source material (the manga for both Bocchi and Frieren were nowhere near as popular as their anime adaptations).
