I think especially now with what they're doing, this slow build of the characters is pretty cool. I still got some beef with S1 and 2 side plot though lol but I feel you on that!

I can tell there is somewhat a difference in whats going on in the characters compared to last seasons. My bar is still low for the side plot stuff but this one is best. I'm still watching either way so I'm hype if it turns up even more

Also one of my manga-reader friends told me the upcoming side-plot (non-race) is gonna be PEAK, I don't know what it is but something tells me Kanata might actually break character and do some crazy shit that no one would've thought of. That's just a hunch, I don't frickin know lol

2026-02-05 05:10:35 +0000 UTCJay, I just learned some CRAZY information. The house we see Kanata and Ren go to is ACTUALLY THE AUTHOR'S PARENTS' HOUSE. My man doxxed himself through his own series😂. If you look up pictures of Shuichi Shigeno's house, it's all there: the truck, the grave they clean, even the backroads they drift the truck through. In a post I saw about it, there's even a panel in the manga where you can even see one his Initial D posters in the corner lol

Also, when they refer to the invisible element of "airflow", I'm going to assume it's how air travels around the car. If you noticed, they cut to the rear end of the car. We don't know yet, but this upgrade MIGHT be fire... Also, when I saw that thumbnail, I spit out my drink. That was mad funny lmfao
