But I'm not sure if that'll happen if he wants that race to stretch into season 4 as well, he'd probably want the race to end closer to the end of the season too, unlike how he did this one. Or else it'll leave a bunch of aimless episodes after the final race

Like you said though I'm just hoping he has something good planned for the remainder of the in between plot. Either way I'm still locked in!

2026-01-09 13:12:43 +0000 UTCBetween the last episode of season 2, episode 1 and 2 of season 3 they did 3 laps of the course, the only places kanata has been overtaken is at the very beginning off the line by akaba and then at the hairpin after au rouge (the one he flys through) and T-point corner and he loses like 6 positions in total so it does make sense to be going into lap 4 if he only gets overtaken in 2 places each lap

But yea, i think Kyle is right, I think episode 4 might be the end, which means they'll need some filler episodes before qualifying for the next race begins. Hopefully Shigeno takes this opportunity to introduce some plot into the series lol. Kanata is cooking though, I think even if this ends quick, it'll have big implications for the top drivers in MFG. Like it's gonna trigger something in the top three to go even crazier. Now I kind of can't wait lol!

I was hoping it'd be the whole season but now I'm thinking this race ends by like episode 5 or 6 and the rest is just build up for the last race. I hope it's a lot more planned ahead for this race still because this is fire so far
