Oh wooow, I had to back track to check what that episode was but now I remember that one ended with them on the dock and conan saves the girl, so that was supposed to be Masami dying there instead. That would've been so crazy. "they thought it wouldnt last long enough" lol whole 1000 eps later Conan still out here solving deaths. So if they removed it I guess their plan was to drop the whole Black Org plot and just do as many one-off cases until the show died out. Glad it stayed popular enough to keep going I can tell it just started getting GOOD

2025-11-08 22:39:08 +0000 UTCIdk if you remember episode 13 (Bizarre Manhunt Murder) but this ending with the Black Org and Masami's character was supposed to be for that case (Masami was supposed to be the female criminal in episode 13). Early on they took anything connected to the Black Org out because they thought the anime wouldn't last long enough for the Black Org to be relevant again. Since this death was important they had to make this whole new case to put it back into the anime. Also the next four piece goes crazy. It's a lot of episodes to watch at once but it's so good

2025-11-02 01:30:57 +0000 UTCI would suggest animepahe, the subtitles are great as accurate as it can be, they even include notes explaining things, but unfortunately the quality doesn't get better (hd) until episode 490, then it's low (not the worst but still not hd) on 512 to 556, and from episode 557+ all episode are in hd quality because it's not the remastered version. The movies though are in 1080p quality, all of them! There is also animekai, but it might be the website you're watching from because it doesn't have subs for the blue box name introduction either, they started putting the subs for that in this website from the 400 episodes onwards. I don't think you will, but if you choose animepahe, type 'meitantei conan' in the search bar not Detective Conan or case closed. Also, the movies are in the 'relations' option when you search the show, you can see summary, relations, and recommendations.. the movies and specials are in the 'relations'. Like i mentioned, the movies are high quality in this website not only the video but also subtitles. Anyways, the characters get introduced either by themselves or by others, so it might not be a big deal. 2025-11-02 01:19:09 +0000 UTC127 episodes later we FINALLY get gin and vodka in an episode, if this is how the Black Org cases are gonna go then I'm hyped. This ep had the same vibe of a conan movie. Also Conan uploads will be experimental from this point forward depending upon where I find them to watch at. This current website does have clear quality but seems like they don't subtitlt the Blue box names. Which I guess that's okay enough to deal with
