I do think your being harsh but your a music critic its what you do lol, and your opinion is so valid. I personally loved the mixtape especially after going through my own hard time, also ngl Lizzo put a lot of feelings I had these last 7 months in certain songs in the mixtape and positive, fun energy I wanted to bring with me this next half of the year in this mixtape. I do believe you should revisit the album as a whole, and come towards it with a more "party-like" mindset. Or play it at the gym. Those beats while lifting weights or on the stairmaster is EVERYTHING.

2025-07-12 08:04:13 +0000 UTCI don't understand Zach's issue with this record, he starts off the video saying he wants more fun, party and silly music from Lizzo, less preachy and wholesome stuff. Then he complains that the content of the songs are too similar because she's talking about partying, sex, boasting/bragging too much. Even though that content and subject matter is very different from her last two albums! I really would like to know subjects what he wants to hear her rap about instead? And let's please give credit to Lizzo on her rapping abilities, she's an extremely good punch line rapper! Her flow, bars, rhyming schemes, etc. I don't see how a hip hop fan isn't impressed by her rapping ability/skills. That on top of the extremely amazing production throughout the entire project is what makes for a good rap mixtape. The only thing I would have wanted from this project that it was missing was a couple more features/guest appearances of traditional rappers/rap verses.

I can’t stand mediocre lyrics from Drake and all of the other current music, but maybe I’m trying to say that some music reaches people where they are in certain times of their life.

2025-07-08 17:18:00 +0000 UTCI’m sorry but the 30 secs of Zach staring into space with no expression during the first song says it all 😂😂😂 actually like this upon first listen because it was finally something different from her and I feel like she’s trying to get back to her old self. Making music like she did when she started. It’s definitely not perfect. There was a lot of songs that were throw away to me but several of them were bops. I think you should listen to it in the car with some grass zach you would’ve liked it better lol 😆 you’re not wrong about there being several songs that are exactly the same just to a different beat. I felt that the first time I heard it too.

He also mentioned in a recent reaction that his taste is changing a bit as he’s grown and I’m there too. The artistry in a lot of girls’ recent releases is either stagnant, boring, or just no longer my taste. The ‘outside’ thing is tired and I think it’s time to evolve

Cardi drops a single that her fans were begging her to (she didn’t really want to) and he can’t enjoy it. Lizzo makes a fun summer mixtape and he can’t enjoy it. Are fans saying that any of this is the best material we’ve been given? No, but it’s fun. And right now with everything we are all having to deal with we need to have some mindless fun to pick our spirits up. Lately it just feels like listening to this music is a chore for him and it’s a little disappointing to see.

Y’all seem to never be happy or satisfied. & it’s exhausting at times. 🤨 You wanted fun music from the girl so I’m confusion. Lol. Also, it’s a mixtape… so I don’t think this project deserved to be deep dived & dissected for the masses. It’s the summertime, it’s fun turn up outside music & that’s okay. I’m not even or never been a Lizzo fan & this mixtape made me appreciate her. Production & beat selection sounds expensive, her flow was nice. I thought she did great! This is not album, but a mixtape for the summer. To talk her shit & simply have a good time.
