She’s giving a little bounce that ass and electronic. It’s genreless music. It reminds me of the best work of Janet, Prince, Michael, Beyonce, Queen, Stevie Wonder, etc. If you really get into it, it’s perfect POP music. This is the sound of a stonerific, seasoned, student of the game. Get you a bluntiana maybe some magic mushrooms and have another listen.

2025-06-19 01:09:41 +0000 UTCoof i closed the window by mistake & deleted my ten page essay. i got to the banger after interlude 2 (also certified,) & it would have been tite if that album was consistently that. there's a lot of disconnect & all the elements are there, ALL 100%. the engineering could use some work, some more time to make like a seemless edm gapless trance mix. follow up thought: it's pretty great for sampling & remixing.... I would love to hear some extended cuts by amateur/indie engineers. (i have to finish the reaction later, but these are some first reactions) (interlude 2 deserves its own 90s/00s trance album)

I dont hate Miley and I do peep her art work, but I will never ever let BLATANT using of our black culture slide. You give an “inch” and a “mile” will be taken. I’ve had narcolepsy for Mrs Miley ever since. The album is good I won’t lie, but I’m drowsy (figuratively) listening to it.

When I say I was dancing to every song starting at Golden Burning Sun?!!! I was like OK?!!?! The back half of this album (minus give me love — she’s cute, but I didn’t download) is everything. So impressed
