MoolahMilk Mondays Episode 12

Hello wonderful citizens of Netherhelm! 

We're back with another update post. Firstly, today, I'm very grateful for good health. I just had a medical checkup done and I am in perfect health except for a sprained thumb. That's something to feel blessed about. Do more exercise, eat more veggies and drink more water peepo! Wishing all of you to be in good health always. 

Now onto the update!

• 0.8 News, Spoilers, Updates.

We're moving closer to the end of the first arc now. For this update, I've decided to wrap up the Mia, Sophia and Moon arcs before working on finishing the SOL case for the season finale. I know you guys been waiting for a long time for the main girls so here it is!

I'm trying my best to get the next update out as quickly as possible so that I can finish up the season and have spare time to fix some things and polish the whole game. I think we are in a very good position now. 

We will see Mia getting pregnant and complete her boob events so definitely loads of fun to be had before we close out her arc. Poor Mia has fallen from grace from being the absolute number 1 favorite waifu to near bottom of some people's list. This is due to neglect and a lack of attention. We must bring her back up to where she belongs, at the top!

We are also at the final stages of Sophia's arc where we bring her to Maeve to check out her invisibility and reveal more secrets! So those who are waiting to see more of our crazy scientist it's good news. 

And of course finally Moon as well. We will complete the date and set up her arc to end the season. Surprisingly, Moon has grown drastically in popularity these days. No one seems to pay her any attention previously before so that's nice. I guess many people are  looking forward to how she turns out. 

As you can see, there is much to do with very little time. I want to get these arcs finished as soon as possible before we tackle the huge task of the season finale. The good news is that I already have some unused assets such as majority of the Moon date and other animations so we can save some time there. 

• Release time predictions.

Of course the usual questions will be when update. I think you guys will be happy to know that we will be done shortly. I will announce the update early next month in a couple weeks time. So get hyped!

• Complaints

I think we are moving towards a very exciting time for the game. I'm really glad we have grown so much throughout this process and it's only going to get better from here. 

There are 3 major complaints that people continuously harp on since development of the game. These also seems to be points that people get really mad about. 

1. Mini games

2. Lack of Gallery

3. Stupid MC

As soon as we complete the first season, I will be adding tweaks such as a gallery as well as the option to turn on "repeat players mode" where you can skip content and mini games. Also, by the end of the season, much of the mystery regarding the MC would be revealed that leads us to the next season of the game. We will start becoming more linear and focused so that players will have a goal to focus on. MC's mission and journey will become clearer now that his mysterious back story is out of the way!

These will solve all the major issues. 

Also, we can look forward to so many more crazy lewd scenes once the intro season is done.  Those of you who are absolutely loving the depraved stuff, well you're in for a treat! We are just completing the warm up thats all I can say. 

I also know there are many of you who take the love route as well (Which is surprising for me as it's more than I expected). As we launch the next phase of the game, relationships and alternative routes will become more apparent and there will be much more lovey dovey content as we know the characters better. 

• Final thoughts

I always knew that the first season would be the most challenging as this game is not a straightforward game. My mission was always to keep the players interest as long as possible until we get through the first season. We need to develop the base mechanics, build the story piece by piece and not let too much out of the bag. I've had to employ ALOT of foreshadowing and cliffhanger tactics to keep the players attention everytime I release an update. I know for older players, it is starting to get frustrating. But we are almost there. 

It is not easy to do as you know, such games require support early on in order to survive which is why you see so many games put out the big guns early on. But I would argue such an approach would result in a mediocre pay off. Many very well written games sadly fail to gain traction early and only become popular after a few years when the story heats up. But those tend to be the most satisfying games in my opinion. 

Luckily, we are doing very well thanks to you guys! Your patience will pay off soon! Honestly, I cannot wait. I'm so excited, trust me, you guys are not the only ones who can't wait. Me myself, I have so much planned that I'm really hyped to start on the exciting parts.  

Now, I just need to focus on finishing the season and I'm really trying to end it with a bang. Lot's of headache and grind, but I believe it's gonna be absolutely worth it. 

Thank you to all those who encourage me constantly on discord as well as all you patrons. My dream is to achieve a top 50 game. I think that is definitely possible. I think I will be very proud of my work if that happens.  This is what keeps me motivated every day to work on the game and complete the vision.
