Deviant Anomalies 0.4.0 Development Update #4

Hello Peepo!   Alrighty, good news, we're testing the update with beta males now.  Certain segments of the update have puzzles and clue finding and I'm  particular about those aspects. I don't want to end up having another pixel clicker and frustrating moments!   

Once we are done tweaking I will release it! Hopefully at the end of this week! Pray all goes well.  Patience! I'm adding music, coding the loops and adding the hint system for all the new events. you'll be surprised how much time these little things take up. But it's here.  

I know this update is later than my usual schedule , it's been a real grind. The GPU failure earlier last month held me back some. I also think I'm trying to accomplish too much for this update. 

It's like trying to swim out of a quick sand or trying to open a door in a dream.

P/s: We are still faster than many devs out there ok! Running fast like Tiny over here. You see :D

I tried adding a new variety of puzzles which took immense time to code and design. Also, I ended up being very particular about the renders and little details in scenes. (Pfffft! Did you know one beta tester burnt through a segment in 8 minutes!? A segment which took a long time to make! Lucky others reported 20-25 mins so that's pretty cool.)

Not to mention I've tried to add much more animations and variety in the lewd scenes and not just that but idle and non-lewd animations as well.  

 Even little details like a special magazine (Surprise for you guys! Excited to see what u all think about it.)

But it will all be worth it guys! Time spent on little details will pay off as we will stand out head and shoulders over other games made with the same engine. I think the extra effort will be evident.

For this update, I've implemented some of the game over ideas, polished up the stats system and allow the players to see their stats! It's all coming into place guys.

For those waiting on corruption, please be patient! I've been getting a lot of messages wanting corruption to happen. Let me introduce the game first!  Trust me, it will be very very fulfilling when it's here.

People have been asking for certain fetishes and types of content. 

Based on the content of the messages and requests people have been spamming me with, I am now very very confident you guys will love the game. It's coming guys. Still early days.

I'm really pushing Sage's storyline because for the next update, there is a huge scene which will tie everything together and take DA into the main phase! At the moment we are still at the introductory stage (TBH, I expected us to past that milestone 2 months ago.) Introducing characters, being a little funny, messing around.

Once we get into the meat of the game, I guarantee shits gonna get real. :D:D 

If you liked the game before, you have no idea what's coming. Hehehe. Very very excited because 0.5 will be a milestone.

I'm pretty obsessed with the game at this point and I go straight to my computer the moment I get home from work. So guys, let's make the dream come true and get us up to full time! (yay 300 patrons. 30% there.)

Trust me, I'm pushing very hard but only being able to work on the game 3-4hours daily is not enough to get content up to pace. (3-4 hours = 1-2 hours of actual productive work, the rest is freaking discord and replying messages).

Okay, gonna get back to it now. The next post will be to release the update.
