モブは空気感なのでしっかり描きたい派。

「君は輝く月花のように」2話無事完成しました。

輝夜ちゃんは「レイカの過去を体現する者」として描こうと思っていたんですが、どうもこの娘はレイカさんより怜治君のダメな因子ばかり引き継いでしまったようで、僕の想いに反してかなりのポンコツっぽいです。

女王になっていく物語というより、勘違い娘をわからせる方向へこう…徐々に。

でもレイカさんと同じ事やっても意味ないから、いいか。

そういえば、輝夜のメガネは伊達メガネです。

ちゃんと作画で「レンズ越しの顔の輪郭がズレるかズレないか」でメガネの度数を表現しているのですが、いかんせん細かい作画ミスも相まってうちの細君には

「そんなの気が付かん」

と言われてしまった;;;

・2024年度のコアマガベストは？

コアマガジンの下半期ベストが発表されました。

上半期と下半期の数字を比べた年間ベストは発表されていませんが、書店のランキングとラインナップされている作家の顔ぶれを突き合わせるとをだいたいの数字は想像できます。

たぶん「レイカは華麗な僕の女王」がメガストアコミックスの2024年度1位だったんじゃないかな？

正式なデータは告知されないのであくまで僕の推測ですけどね。

…ま、ベストだったからといって何も無いんですけどねw

コアマガから褒められるわけでも無いし。

いまだにコアマガは新年会が有料だし。

原稿料据え置きで続けてるってのに。

というか正直2024年のコアマガコミックスは若干パンチ不足だった気がする。

いや、エロ漫画界隈が全体的に大人しかったと言うべきか。

風の噂では今年2025年はかなり熾烈な戦いになるらしいので、運も良かった感があります。

ということは来年はまた狙い目の年になるのかも？

来年のGWに「君は輝く月花のように」の単行本を出したいところです。

・人妻が種を求むまで

連載版の「人妻が種を求むまで」が昨年末に配信完了したのですが、なんか年末年始に猛烈に売れてたらしく…

なんと分冊配信の印税しか存在しないのに、「レイカは華麗な僕の女王」の

原稿料＋紙単行本印税＋電子印税

これらの合算を既に超えているらしい。

（契約の都合で僕の手元に振り込まれるのはまだしばらく先）

シーモアに代表される携帯コミックス書店って、無視できないんだなぁ…。

FANZAだけ見てちゃダメなんだって事を痛感させられました。

・レイカさんの本で知らしめられたエロ漫画商業単行本の影

前述の通り、レイカは華麗な僕の女王はとても良い成績になりました。

が。

これにより「エロ漫画単行本のリアルな数字」というのが見えてしまったわけで

いやー厳しいなぁ、特に紙の本！

この本、初版1万部無いんですよ。

漫画執筆に詳しい人なら知ってるかもですが、初版1万部以下というのは＜ひと昔前の新人枠＞です。

加えて、実績のある人は前作の単行本の販売数を参考にした初版部数になるのが普通なのですが、「レイカは華麗な僕の女王」の初版数は前作「レイカは華麗な僕のメイド」のなんと4割減！

でも売り上げランキングでは上位。

紙の本マジで売れないのね…。

もちろん、単行本には電子配信があります。

こちらの数字は伸びているので全体的にはまだまだ悲観するレベルではないのですが、エロ漫画は紙の本を売るために書店からの依頼でいっぱい特典を作っています。

この印刷数はそのコストに見合うのか？

ちょっと腕を組んで唸ってしまう…

単行本の数字に関してはいずれ別記事で深掘りしたいですわね。

Kaguya was supposed to be an actor who indirectly expresses Reika's past, but it seems that she resembles her father more than her mother.

Rather than a story about a girl who gradually acquires the air of a queen, it may be a story about a master who educates his daughter who overestimates herself.

Even though this is different from the original plan, it doesn't make sense to do the same thing as the previous one in the first place, so maybe this is a good thing.

By the way, the glasses used by Kaguya are date glasses.

I am properly using the outline of her face seen through the lenses to express whether her glasses are real or not.

But since I am fundamentally error-prone, such detailed hints may be difficult to convey to the reader.

In fact, my contact did not notice those elements.

The fact that her glasses are date glasses is significant to me, but I am also not sure if I can make the most of these excessive settings within the constraints of an erotic manga.

In that sense, it is probably over-setting.

・Which was the best Coremaga Comics work of 2024 in the end?

Now that the top 10 best Coremaga Comics for the second half of the year have been released, I have calculated the top 10 for the year from those results.

Although no official announcement exists, I am able to guess the correct result to some extent just from the information that exists now.

Perhaps our own Queen Reika will be the top Coamaga Comics of 2024.

...Well, nothing special happens just because it's the top.

It's not like I'm going to get an award from Core Magazine.

On the contrary, my manuscript fees have remained the same for the past 10 years.

I am responsible for not negotiating, but usually when a work becomes a hit, the manuscript fee goes up....

Core Magazine is so stingy that they still collect participation fees from cartoonists at the New Year's party.

But to be honest, I think the 2024 Coremaga comics were generally less appealing.

Or rather, I feel that the erotic manga market as a whole lacked ammunition in FY2024.

In reaction to that, I hear the battle will be fierce this year.

In other words, I was lucky.

Considering this trend, next year is likely to be a year of fewer productions again.

I want to seize this opportunity.

・What I Think About “Until Married Woman Wants Seed”

I heard that this work, which was successfully completed, sold ridiculously well during the year-end and New Year's holidays.

The only remuneration I can receive for this work is the royalty from the electronic distribution of the serialized version, but to my surprise, it exceeded the total amount earned by Queen Reika.

The mobile comics market, represented by Comic Coma, is not often talked about, but its influence cannot be ignored.

In the erotic comics market, only FANZA and Comiflo attract attention, but it is common in this industry that the level of attention is not proportional to the numbers.

It is important to have a broad perspective and not be concerned only with biased information from the noisy outside world.

・Shadow Falling on Erotic Comics Market

While it is possible for individual authors to know how many of their books have been sold, it is usually impossible to know where that number stands in the market.

But thanks to the Queen Reika hit, I had access to the real numbers of the erotic comics market.

The reality of the situation was tougher than I had imagined.

The slump in sales of paper books is particularly severe.

Queen Reika, surprisingly, had a first printing of less than 10,000 copies.

Of course, the book also exists in an electronically distributed version.

The number of sales here has been increasing, so the market as a whole is not shrinking.

However, in order to increase the number of paper comics sold, bookstores send a large number of requests to artists for special offers.

And most of these requests do not come with a fair remuneration.
