A rough draft of Minami's Diary 3.
At first I was going to use this rough draft, but as it turned out I couldn't fit it on the page and it was rejected.
In my case, I tend to draw erotic manga not as a whole page, but as individual panels.
In other words, the composition I want to draw takes precedence.
After drawing it in pieces, I check whether it fits into the frame, whether the story is connected, whether it looks good as a whole, and so on.
As a result of this process, many drafts are rejected.
One of the most common reasons for rejection is that the drawing does not physically fit.
Can't you just reduce the size of the drawing and it will fit?
That's right, if you shrink it, it will fit.
But the size of the picture is an important factor.
The size of the picture affects the overall sense of balance and the rhythm of the reading experience.
For example, in the case of erotic manga, you don't want a panel with small boobs, do you?
It's not powerful, is it?
It's also important to know which way the character is facing.
For example, you can't get a sense of immersion in a picture unless it's facing you.
As a result of these conflicts, there are many drafts that are not bad but are rejected.
In my honest opinion, the method of drawing each cut and combining them into a manga may not be very efficient.
But that's the way I do it.
