Industrious - Chapter 43

Well, a few hours past my deadline, but I think that's close enough for government work.

You know what I missed?  Gai.  I missed writing Gai.

So that's one problem solved, at least!

Industrious - Chapter 43

Comments

I was thinking less full on chakra body and more along the lines of a chakra entity that was basically a computer and can manipulate chakra. Not a solid entity so much as a particularly active ghost. Maybe in a seal in the same theme as the jinchuriki but with both free flow of Chakra and likely significantly weaker because it's not containing a multiple nuke launching kaiju. Hell, thinking about it, wasn't Orochimaru's cursed seal capable of holding a soul? It feels like as long as Kota could get creation of an artificial mind down, he could make the project work since all the pieces already exist in setting.

Ryune

Making a chakra body wouldn't be bad but it would probably cone at some cost like being very energy intensive seeing as it cost the Sage alot to make his kids, but also it probably would be easier to make a "real" body that he has designed and enhanced the best ways he currently knows for his daughter, plus becoming pure energy is always something he and the others can pursue later.

Actually considering what he wants to build Ghost in the shell might be better then cyberpunk or at least majorly enhace what Cyber brings to the table considering how far they have taken their Robotic and Biotech human body Prosthetics as well as the His successes they've had a transferring someone's mind and soul to them best example is the Major and her fusion with A.I. considering it Ghost in the Shell would probably majorly help with ninja Puppetry, Cyberware bodies, the Chakra cloning, Krama marks, etc.. it would probably work really well in meshing them all together.

I mean, there is also that filler villain that had literal chakra nanomachines and Jugo's bullshit. Alternatively, I wonder if we aren't barking up the wrong tree with nanomachines. Kota is using literally the same technique that the Sage used to create the Tailed Beasts. Would Kota be able to make effectively an energy construct that could have the same effects? It just needs to be able to store energy, store and execute techniques. Sort of like a WC Shroud or something. From there, he could refine it until _it_ can the creation of all things technique and just _summon_ cybernetics inside of someone. Though, the question becomes if you even need cybernetics when you can arbitrarily create matter from energy and have a semi-perminent energy construct that can function like a computer able to use chakra.

I'd assume that MC will propose for several spine substitute operation. From the basic bitch normal metal spine, to the reflex enhanced, to the Kerry, then Sandy. Really can't wait for the next chapter. Thanks, OP.

That's true for the gen Rex Nanites but with enough understanding or mixing the Crysis nanosuit info he should be able to solve that problem, actually the cyberpunk cyber ware uses nano tech of a kind (at least the high level stuff.) So the will probably help understanding nanites enough that a Grey goo scenario should be extremely low, since they spread of the nanites in gen Rex only happened because of other people screwing with the process in the worst way

Rockinalice

It's possible, but very dangerous. Both because its a natively self-replicating organism and because he has no real way to ensure the cells maintain their stability long-term over several generations.

Slayer Anderson

This will actually be explored in the next chapter. Kushina will be asking Rin for her take on the proposal to replace her spine with metal and seal-work.

So, how far along is the chrome prototype? I'd assume that one of the first magnum opus he's building is the not-Sandevistan, to then be used to build a Full-Borg body for his 'Daughter'. Is there a chance for him to attach a chrome? Or will he go purely meat-based, and chrome as substitute in case of dismemberment?

gaouw ganteng

So fun fact. He already has access to a ready made source of nanotechnology. Medical techniques can be used to shape cells and micro-organisms. He would be entirely inside of the limits of them to use such techniques to modify bacteria and viruses into nanomachine equivalents that he could then guide with medical techniques to build cybernetics using some of the same processes as bone growth and healing.

Ryune

Ah, the time honored tradition of blaming the absent. Truly a masterful technique.

*welcoming Sunset of Youth for Maito Gai*

Tristan R Mitchell

He can't make things that small or complex yet. He can do wrist watch parts, not nanotech.

Tristan R Mitchell

Yeah but that's not so much a problem when you can make stuff from nothing so he can skip most of the steps and get to the end pretty easily he just needs a computer to program the nanites unless he wants to do that through his Dune level control of his body and program them through his body, best to just make the computer an do it that way. His greatest problem was building the Tools to tools etc.. but with the Sages creation techniques and his own printing press most of that is Skippable for a creative man like him

Rockinalice

Differently from what Worm Fanfictions show creating nanotechnology is not so simple; he doesn't even have the instruments to create the instruments for Generator Rex tech yet

Axel Wate

I also missed reading about Gai. It's good to see him back.

Heggs

Honestly surprised he didn't put a few points into Nano-machines from Gen Rex or Crysis to go with the Cyberware. With the sages techniques making them should be vary cost effective and would make creating, modifying, upgrading and maximizing any new technology much easier especially with the dune Techniques.

Rockinalice

Mmmmm, Rindingo in Obitussy, while protagonisto seems sussy. Then Lee happened.
