Industrious: A Naruto Inspired Inventor SI
Added 2022-09-25 12:03:57 +0000 UTCHad a weird idea, I want to see where it goes. Fueled by what was probably a mild fever and sleep deprivation, this story was born. Basic idea is that the self-insert, Kotaro, has an extremely-nerfed version of the Inspired Inventor CYOA power from the utterly-broken first Worm CYOA.
Except he's in Naruto, not Worm.
...yeah, I know this might not go over super well, I'll have another chapter of The New Ron out in a day or two.

I did not know how much I needed this. Hell it might take himself substantially longer to create seals(weeks were as others take moments) but they could likely create potent seals. I've not seen much of Boruto but it looks like the tensions have eased. Depending on the time frame the SI might be around during the second or third ninja wars. Or maybe the small hot war with kumo (not a world war but still war between nations). I am curious if they might decide to try the Batman thing, you might not be able to out muscle or power people attacking you but with a breadth of knowledge, including tactics you could develop a minds eye for combat. Prevent the Steel and powers from entering your body is the most important thing, then you can work on devices and works to help deescalate (just remember zetsu actively and covertly fosters conflicts at minimum two or three degrees of separation from themselves.) Really like the concept 👍
