I wanted to have a chart for the stages in Ernest's transformation and some kind of reference to the sizes. Of course, I don't trust myself in being consistent 100% of the time but I'll try lmao

Normally Ernest just lets his ears/tail/claws out from habit but keeps it at that. Other times he'll shift just enough to be bigger but still fit through a door. This form was more common when he was a soldier outside of using his rifle in his non-shifted form. Charlotte isn't in this chart for reference but she reaches Ernest's shoulder when he's human.

This design is new! I call it "fluffy Ernest" lol. His fur is growing out but he still has patches of no fur in some places. I needed an intermediate form where he looks wolfish but still not HUGE.

And his full shifted form! I can't for the life of me keep the size consistent so let's not think about it. It's really impractical most of the time but if Ernest needs to be a tank and bulldoze through enemies, he can. The excuse for why he's so big is because he's a hybrid and his dad was pretty big too. There'll be another hybrid type character in the comic much later (after season 2) and they'll be huge too. BTW the big scar on Ernest's right side of his torso was damage from an explosion he sustained in this form, it would have killed him otherwise.
