Seriously, even reading at engaged-in-a-webcomic pace which makes it hard for emotional moments to have their full impact, I feel SO MUCH for this section and this page in particular. The whiplash of the family visit, the shame and fear Daniel feels, the disgust at himself and the visceral disgust at the thing on the ground, the whip-crack movement through time past whatever gnarly action took place . . . this is transcendent stuff. Knocking it out of the park here.
