Reinbach is Moving Again Next Week

Hey gang the short version is that I need next week off to move from Florida to Washington.

If you know me, you know I take vacation weeks grudgingly. I enjoy making the comic and don't enjoy the risk of engagement loss that comes with TRW having to skip a week. But I've also learned to read the writing on the wall when external forces are going to hinder my work schedule, so I'd like to get ahead of it for once and just take my summer vacation week early.

As ever, I'm not looking forward to the trip itself. After all the flying I've done one would think I'd be an old pro at it by now but no, every trip has presented a fresh hell thus far. (I wonder who will spill what on me THIS time?) I'm looking very forward to not having to fly again for awhile after this. I just want to be where I'm at for awhile if I can.

The pic here was inspired by how much I'm dreading the packing process to come. I'm not exactly traveling light this time. You never really think about how heavy something is until it's time to pack or ship it, do you. I think about a suitcase holding my PS5 or my PC tower or my computer monitor and I just picture Jane sitting behind that check in counter, rubbing her hands together.

But I do have a very big commission I've been working on that I should be able to post before I go, so you'll still hear from me next week. I thank you in advance for your patience, and TRW will be back before you know it!
