I will say that while I was drawing it, it felt like Casey taking a kick in the ass without falling over on her face might be the most unrealistic thing in the whole comic. Being so top-heavy has got to be hell on your balance.
Hope you're interested to see how Casey navigates this particular day and thanks as always for supporting the comic!

2024-05-17 13:23:38 +0000 UTCAs immature and emotional as Abbey is being, it's with remembering how much of herself she have to Casey to try and make things work, both in healthy ways like working part her anger issues and in unhealthy ones like trying to be bi for her. I really hope after all that they're not going completely back to where they were. Maybe they can't completely patch things up, but I feel like this is going to end up testing if Casey can fight her own instincts to get defensive, and find some sacrifice of her own she can offer to prove that Abbey means something to her (even if not as much as Royce and Bria). And as tumultuous as it's been, I do feel like Casey and Abbey's history gives them a special connection beyond most of Casey's flings
