EDIT: Tweaked Bria's dialog in panel six. She originally said, "We don't seek you out, Royce." As some have astutely pointed out, crazy women totally have sought him out, almost exclusively.
A transitional page this week. They kind of drive me crazy because they tend to have less punch, but they're necessary when the characters need to move around. Speaking of movement, Royce running was pretty hard for me to draw. Or rather, the sense of motion was hard to convey. (To this day, I don't know an easy way to pull off speedlines in Photoshop.) For as much "action" as I present, the physical stuff like running and tumbling is often a struggle for me. Maybe it's time I pick up a modern superhero comic and get a refresher on how it's done? I used to do that all the time when I had easy access to a comic shop, but never really got on board for paying for digital-only issues of Spiderman. Perhaps I should catch up with the year 2015 and take the plunge.
