Added 2020-04-30 23:19:30 +0000 UTCI think I've established that Casey has matured and softened since the events of Switch, but I tried not to lose her old self entirely in the process. This was not only because I wanted to preserve some of what I first wrote her as (that being a selfish manipulative pervert) but also because I think it could make for some interesting obstacles in Casey and Royce's relationship. I never originally imagined her as being anyone's steady girlfriend, and I feel like Casey and Royce trying to hammer that round peg into a square hole should be fun to write.

Royce has done it with Bria without any prodding from Casey in the past, but since there frankly isn't room for the whole backstory in a single panel there, you can chalk what Casey says up to her exaggerating to make a point. Or maybe that Royce used to be fine with banging Bria, but has grown more reluctant recently.

It's been mentioned in the Monday pinups and strips that Bria and Royce have been sleeping together without Casey being present.

Now if you examine this side of the corkboard, below the photo of Liz and the sticky note reading "Best Girl(?)", you'll see a pic of Bria. The red string connects her to Casey, Royce, Warren, Jonah, Kaleo, Fontaine, and that one girl at the party in Switch Chapter 6 with the Jill Valentine getup, probably others including the dude from the game. In the comics, we've seen Royce with someone besides Casey/Sylvia exactly once, with Bria while Casey was there.

Also hoping Abby is going to end up being part of that. Or Parker. I think Parker and Royce would be really sweet even as a side thing, though as cute and affectionate as parker is I'm not sure if Casey would think it was adorable or hate her guts lol.
