Gen 1 Aura Dog, Take 2

For this re-attempt, instead of drawing the sprites right off the bat (aka, the truest Gen 1 spriting experience), I planned them out, drawing heavy inspiration from the Japanese releases. They looked more wonkier than I remembered, and it's only been a few months!
I also noticed that majority of the final evolutions (in JP Red and Green) looked super deformed and chonky, which may be a factor to the... well:
With that in mind, I also wanted to revert this bipedal aura yapping dog into a more 1996 form. Potentially even be used outside of the Pocket Monster series... think Pulseman or even Legend of the Blue Dragon!
Aside from completely redoing the back sprites (feedback consensus was it looked too good to be from the Gameboy titles hahaha), I made the weird dangly things into more of a headband/bandana motif, like that fighting street character!

Angry Fighting Streetwise AuraDog! *sung to a very particular tune about green pizza-loving adolescents* Another cute attempt, and if you were to make them an OC and bring them back occasionally I wouldn’t complain. The sketches at the bottom do look very cool and tough. Could be a character in its own fighting game or arcade brawler.
