I hope it's relatable, what Warren's going through here. That being where a mere moment's hesitation can cause you to miss your chance with someone. It certainly happened to me pretty often when I was his age.

And I scrolled back as far as page 74 and I'm not seeing a difference in the naming structure. This does sound totally like a mistake I would make, I just need a bit more details to understand what you mean here.
