And that version of her, shown here, will always be my favorite. The idea that the hottest girl on the team was cursed to never touch (or, more to the point, be touched) by another human being remains timelessly interesting to me.
I say that, but to be fair I haven't kept up with her in the modern comics, for all I know she can control her deadly touch powers by now. But in regards to her original version, many a juvenile conversation was had among my friends growing up. We debated whether or not condoms would help keep one safe from her life-sucking vagina. Probably not, but I think a lot of us would have been willing to risk it. :D

Issues with X_Men go back longer than that. When they got to having like 4 different books at once, not counting another 2-3 Wolverine series, so many writers at once had no apparent communication with each other. Plus, some of the writers they've had assigned don't even know some important continuity. (Like Rogue losing her virginity to Sentry before she joined the X-Men (which puts her at like 14-15) means he's a pedophile, and everyone in the Marvel U is cool with it.

It was getting fairly stupid. Marvel has not exactly been great with power continuity in the last decade or so...

Once again, I'm shocked that any condom could hold a Reinbachverse cock :). My girl was, as so many '90s kids, Psylocke. Inscrutable, Asian, Ass-Kicking, and utterly unknowable. Jim Lee drew her in so many back-bending, insane poses back in the day, and she seemed to want nothing to do with anyone. SO sexy :). Rogue was good, though. Funnily enough, I never read the "proper" Rogue until I read Claremont's stuff as an adult- later writers made her so wimpy and whiny. Claremont wrote her like the toughest, butchest chick around, frequently curbstomping villains by herself. Of course, Claremont dug the butch chicks.
