Gamora Sketch

This was a fun one for me in that before being sent some reference I had no idea what Gamora even looked like in the comics before the movie. I haven't seen any recent Guardians of the Galaxy comics but I'm going to take a wild guess and bet the character looks just like the Zoe Saldana version now. Anyhow I'm really looking forward to the upcoming sequel, I must've watched that trailer on Youtube half a dozen times by now. That part with Drax at the end cracks me up every time!

Gamora's a little skinnier and less-fanservicey in the comics now (in the '90s, she had easily the skimpiest costume in comics- even more than Lady Death or Vampirella!). She even wears a full body-suit, probably because her teammate Angela is now the skimpy-dresser. She's also a darker green- '70s-'90s Gamora was this color.
