It was funny, I looked up some pics of Jasmine here to make sure I got her outfit right, and I was pretty amazed that this was how she really looked in the movie. Seriously the only thing different from how I've drawn her here and her appearance in an animated movie marketed to kids was that I removed her tiny bikini top, that's it. Personally I don't think that would ever fly now. I highly doubt you'd see a midriff-baring, blatantly sexy female character in a modern Disney/Pixar film these days.

And you're right about how a lot of stuff they did back then wouldn't fly today. Just look at Jessica Rabbit, and that's a Disney movie lol.

2015-10-27 01:48:05 +0000 UTCI've thought about that before, sometimes the girl who loses the vote is still someone I'd like to draw. I mean, why else would I put them up for consideration you know? Maybe I'll do a pic of Ariel and just sneak her in without a vote sometime. ;)
