Added 2021-07-19 13:41:08 +0000 UTCIndeed, the processor of the new PC was at 96º Celsius = 205º Farenheit (according by Google). Today even the lizards walk with umbrellas through my village (here we have today 42ºC in the shadow).
I’m going to have to stop the new PC, if I don’t want the processor to mute... Believe me when I tell you, I’m looking forward to October, and to come quickly.

2021-07-19 16:33:33 +0000 UTCBesides: newer models, being it Intel or AMD, can't be cooked alive anymore, they will first throttle and if that doesn't work, stop (CPU halt) the CPU to protect the semiconductors. Same goes for the GPU. But I understand your feelings and that you don't want to risk your "new baby" ;).

2021-07-19 15:08:58 +0000 UTCAs far as I know the TurboBoost is usually something to consider when it comes to overheating, being it Windows or Linux. But you can deactivate that easily using the power manager. Set the Max CPU Load to 99%, that should give you immediate relief. Because 50°C over ambient (42°C air temp, if I get you correctly) screams cooling issues, usually under load the temp shouldn't go up that high, even with that ambient temp.

2021-07-19 15:06:05 +0000 UTCSomething similar happens to me with AMD, I had two computers with that processor, at first very good, but after a year the processor began to lose power, and they were slower and slower. I think we all have bad experiences with one brand or another. In the end you end up buying with the one with the least bad experience you have had. . .

2021-07-19 14:24:59 +0000 UTCI had a bad feeling about the pc when I realised it had an intel processor in it. 10th and 11th gen are nortorious for their high heat output. That plus the case design dell makes is terrible for airflow, I’m not surprised if it’s suffocating. Even in the autumn/winter period it’s state won’t change by much. AMD Ryzen Processors do much better with heat dissipation..
