True to her word, Hermione curled up on the corner of the bench and was asleep before the train left the Hogsmeade Station. Harry grinned at Parvati, who was looking rather sleepy herself, and she snuggled against him for a nap of her own. He wasn't sleepy at all, and even if he was, the two other girls in the compartment would have kept him awake.
It had been a very interesting morning, coming down to breakfast to find Hufflepuff was down close to 100 points! From what he had been able to discover, Cedric and Viktor Krum had been discovered in an extremely compromising position in an empty classroom by Snape after the ball. Cedric had been taken home by his parents already, and Krum was basically confined to the Durmstrang ship, bracing himself for the deluge of howlers from Bulgarian Quidditch fans.
Hermione, Padma, and Cho had all seemed rather quietly amused when they heard the news, and Hermione told him about the conversation the three of them had at the Ball the night before. He had to admit it was rather funny, but he was more interested in Cho and Padma's feelings about what happened after they left the Ball. Hermione had made her feelings extremely clear during the time they were in the Prefects Bath, especially when she was holding herself open to let him bugger her while she was snogging Parvati.
It was still a bit of a shock, the change in the relationship between him and his best friend, but Harry certainly wasn't complaining! But, other than the fact he still had a bit of a crush on Cho, and the brief conversation he had with Padma during the dance, he didn't really know either of the other girls that well. He wasn't really sure how to start getting to know them, either, but 'Gryffindor's Forward!', he smiled over at the two of them and said,
“Sorry about causing you difficulties last night, Padma, Parvati had no idea the bond would work that way, and until she started getting your feelings, we had no idea that you would be affected, let alone so strongly.”
Padma blushed a little, but smiled, “It was a shock at first, but once Cho and Hermione got me out of there where I could get some relief, it was an incredible experience! And I don't even have to ask if 'Vati enjoyed herself, that smile probably won't fade for days.” The smile widened, “And if Hermione was awake, I'm sure she'd agree. Just what did the two of you do to her last night?”
He just grinned and shook his head, “I'll let her tell you, but I'm more interested in talking about you and Cho, it seems that the two of you are being drawn into this, and I don't really know either of you that well, we might as well use the time to get to know each other, how does that sound?”
Cho nodded, “It actually makes more sense than my initial idea, which was to strip down and beg you to do to me what you did to Parvati last night.” Harry stared at her in shock, which made Cho start laughing, “No, I'm mostly kidding, although she clearly enjoyed herself. But we really don't know each other, do we?”
He shook his head, and Cho said, "Well since you seem to be the center of this coven we're forming, can you tell us what really happened your first couple of years at Hogwarts? There are a ton of rumors floating around, and if we know what really happened we can work on countering them."
Harry looked at her curiously, “Okay, I can see why you would want to know, but what's this about a coven?”
Cho smirked, "Well, it sounds better, and it is more socially acceptable than calling it a Harem, isn't it? Coven's are an established way of a wizard to have multiple witches as lovers and still protect their reputations because the wizard at the center generally is far more powerful than the average. It's also magically recognized, which will get you support from the traditionalist families, especially when you claim the Potter seat on the Wizengamot, but that's not something that you can do right away."
Harry nodded, “I like the idea of protecting your reputations, and it does sound better than a Harem, but don't we have to do a ritual of some sort to actually create the coven?”
Padma spoke up, “We can do that once we figure out how many witches will be needed for the initial coven, it will almost definitely have to expand once we hit our maturity though. We could possibly do it now, with you and the four of us, because the five of us are a prime number, but, based on how Parvati reacted, we should look for at least two more witches, if not six more, to keep us from being overwhelmed.”
He shook his head, “It's a good thing I can afford to support a large family, then, isn't it? But how are we going to find witches that would be open to joining us, let alone be compatible? Because I'm already not looking forward to the arguments that are bound to happen with just the five of us.”
"That's not going to be a problem, Harry," Cho said, leaning forward, "One of the effects of forming the coven is that the magic ensures harmony between the coven members, otherwise the major workings that the coven does wouldn't be successful."
Harry grinned, “Done a bit of research, Cho?”
She blushed, “Hey, I've been fascinated by the idea since I was a little girl. Granted, I didn't know exactly what being in a coven meant at the time, but I'm an only child, and the idea of having a bunch of sisters around sounded like a great idea.”
Padma snorted, “Trust me, it's not always as much fun as it sounds, and Parvati would say the same thing. Sure, we love each other, but we can also really get on each other's tits at the same time. If the coven would minimize that, it would be worth it.”
Parvati wasn't saying much of anything, since she was currently sound asleep and drooling on Harry's jumper, but that wasn't important. It was a shame that Hermione had fallen asleep so soon, because she would probably really enjoy the conversation, but they could bring her up to speed when she woke up.
“Okay, it's good to know that we'll all get along, but how do we find the other two, or six if we go that far, witches to join the coven? I know Parvati and Hermione and friendly with Lavender, but I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with her, she's just a bit too flighty, and that wouldn't fit in well. I don't really know any girls in the other houses well enough to even start to consider them.”
Cho and Padma looked at each other, and Padma said, “It would probably be good if we could find girls from the other two houses, both to ensure we have the widest selection of approaches to magic, as well as, to be honest, political reasons. It would be easier while we are in school if we had all four houses as part of the coven, because it would make it harder for Snape to come down on us just because he's an arse and doesn't like Harry.”
Harry grinned wryly, “Not that he would need much of an excuse, he'd cause me problems just because he enjoys it! But it's too nice a day to think about that greasy arsehole, do you have any suggestions for Slytherin girls? I'm thinking that Susan and Hannah from Hufflepuff would be worth talking to, just because the two of them were willing to believe I didn't enter myself into the Tournament.”
Cho nodded, “I've actually talked to the Carrow twins a few times over the last couple of years, when they'd come into the shop to get potions ingredients, and they might be worth talking to, especially since they don't subscribe to the Pureblood supremacy that most of Slytherin spouts. And they are both disgusted by their Aunt and Uncle being 'Imperious Victims'.”
The snack cart lady passing by interrupted the conversation, as well as waking up Hermione and Parvati. After loading up on crisps and ice-mice, the conversation continued on lighter topics for the rest of the trip back to London.

Dinner was finished, and Father had departed for his study, so Parvati knew that it was time to talk to their mothers. It wasn't anything she was nervous about, they had always been able to talk about the most intimate subjects, and Padma wasn't any shyer than she was, but Parvati wanted to make sure they were in private for this conversation, because their younger sisters and brothers did not need to hear what they were talking about.
Clearing her throat, she said, “Bebe?”
Her mother looked at her in surprise, as did her sister wives, it was unusual for either of the girls to use the language of their home in casual conversation, so they knew that this was something different.
Sira looked directly at her, “Yes, Meri Beti?”
Parvati smiled at the affectionate tone her mother used, “There are things we need to discuss, and I think we'd all be more comfortable in the bath, would you join us?”
Her mother grinned suddenly, as did her sister wives, her twin Sarita, and their younger sister Sanah, it was obvious they realized what the subject was going to be, and Parvati nodded. Padma did as well, saying “It's about a comment you made about being able to enjoy being married even if you weren't in the room?”
The women's grins got wider, and soon all five of them were soaking naked in the private bathroom, with Sanah dispatched to let their father know he didn't want to go near the bath until they were finished. Parvati couldn't help but blush at some of the comments when she stripped down, and her mothers saw that she had been shaved, and found herself telling all of them, in great detail, what had happened with Harry the night before.
All three of them seemed really impressed with Harry's confidence and consideration, and when she described the spells he used to prepare her for the first time, her birth mother nodded emphatically before pulling her into a hug.
It felt a bit strange to be in a naked hug with her mother, but she decided she didn't want to think about it, as Sira just said, “He sounds like a very good man, and I'm glad you enjoyed your first experience, but from Padma's reaction, did your sister get to enjoy herself as well?”
That was Padma's cue to describe what happened from her perspective, and Parvati found herself fascinated by how it felt to her twin. But when Padma finished, Sira looked at her in confusion, “Daughter, if you knew the source of the feelings, why did you not find your sister and join her? From what Parvati has described, he would have had no problems satisfying you both.”
Padma blushed, “Mother! Parvati is my sister, it wouldn't be proper!”
Parvati was nodding in agreement, but the way that all three of their mothers started to laugh shocked her!
Mother Sarita just stared at the two of them, shaking her head and grinning. “Is that what you think? Did you really believe that when the three of us went with our husband that we only enjoyed his attentions? We enjoy ourselves just as much even when he is busy with business, so why would you think that it's improper to enjoy each other? It's clear from both of your stories that you have enjoyed other girls, so where is the difficulty?”
Parvati started to object, but closed her mouth, was there really any reason that she didn't want to play with Padma, other than the fact she hadn't really thought about it? Turning to look at her twin, she saw a similar confusion on Padma's face, and knew that the two of them would have a lot to talk about when they went to bed tonight.

Lin shared a grin with her husband Charles as they watched Cho fidgeting in her seat as they ate, and she gave him the signal to let her handle things. He just smiled and nodded, they had been together long enough that he knew he could trust her to get to the bottom of whatever had their daughter so excited.
Finishing dinner, Charles gave her a kiss, and placed a kiss on the top of Cho's head, welcoming her home, before he headed down into the shop to finish some paperwork.
When the two of them were alone, Lin poured each of them a glass of wine and smiled, “So, did your date with Cedric go that well last night, Cho? The way you are dancing in your seat tells me something must have happened.”
She wasn't expecting laughter to be her daughter's response, but after Cho described how Cedric and Viktor Krum had been discovered, Lin realized that whoever it was that had Cho's attention, it wasn't the Diggory boy. “So, who is it that's got your knickers melting?” she teased, not really expecting an answer, but when Cho actually smirked at her? Lin knew this was going to be good!
“Are you sure you want to know? I mean, I could tell you that I'm having a passionate affair with Professor Flitwick, what you say then?”
Lin gave her daughter a glare, and Cho laughed, “Actually, it's Harry Potter, but that's only the start of the insanity!” Cho said, before telling her mother what had happened the night before, and the conversation on the Express that day.
Lin could only shake her head in amusement by the time Cho finished her story, although she had to admit it did sound like Harry knew how to treat a girl. He must have inherited that from James, although Lily had her moments as well. But that's not a story to share with your teenage daughter, not for several years anyway!
“So you're going to live out your dream of being in a coven after all. I just hope you've thought it through, because you know what has happened in almost all the documented covens, starting with Merlin. Are you prepared for Harry's appetites to change once the coven is finalized?” She was looking at Cho seriously, because her daughter may not have really thought about what would be demanded on her and her coven sisters, and it wasn't too late to avoid the problems if she didn't think she could handle them.
But Cho was nodding, “You mean the sexual appetites? He's already buggered Parvati and Hermione, and made the two of them love it, and all of us are quite comfortable having sex with other girls, thanks to 'Helga's Gift', so unless he suddenly develops an interest in whipping us, I don't see anything that I'm worried about. Unless you know something about him that I don't?”
Lin shook her head, “I don't know anything about Harry, other than what you've told me, I pay no attention to Rita Skeeter and her ilk, so, other than the basic story of what happened that Halloween night, I'd say you know him better than I do.”
Her daughter nodded, but then grinned, “Even if he does develop a kink for bondage and spanking us, I know that Hermione wouldn't have a problem with it, considering what we talked about last night while Harry and Parvati were giving Padma a breather! I thought I had a dirty imagination, but she puts me to shame!”
Naturally Lin couldn't let that go, and by the time Charles stuck his back in the kitchen, the two of them had finished one bottle of wine, and they were both extremely flushed. He was smart enough not to ask any questions when Lin appeared in their bedroom a few minutes later and started pulling her clothes off. Morning was plenty soon enough to get answers, after all.

Somehow Harry wasn't surprised to see Narcissa sitting at the kitchen table with Sirius and Moony when he stepped out of the floo. He really wondered how she got away with leaving Lucius and Draco so often, but it really wasn't any of his business. Besides, he was starving!
Fortunately, Kreacher had a plate waiting for him, and he managed to still the growling in his belly before Sirius started asking him about the Ball. He already knew that something interesting had happened, since the mirror went off that morning and he had caught a glimpse of Parvati and Hermione cuddled up next to him, sound asleep under the covers.
After the requisite teasing by his godfather and Moony, with even Narcissa chiming in, Harry gave them an overview of what happened, including Padma's reactions, and the suggestion of forming a coven around him. Strangely, Narcissa seemed very interested in the idea of a coven, and he looked at her, “Why does that interest you so much, Narcissa? I know why I like the idea, I don't like the idea of Parvati or the others losing their personalities, but, unless you are signing up for one of the openings, I'm a little confused.”
Padfoot had choked on his drink at his suggestion of Narcissa joining him, which was partly why he said it, but Narcissa just looked at him intently, before smiling slightly. She chuckled, “That would certainly cause the disappointment's head to explode, wouldn't it? But no, that's not why I'm interested.” The smile faded, “I'm going to ask you to keep this information secret, because if the wrong people heard about it, it could be dangerous to Lucius and I.”
Harry nodded slowly, there was obviously something going on that he wasn't aware of, and, while he couldn't care less about Lucius having problems, he had come to like Narcissa. She took a sip of her tea and said, “Contrary to what you may believe, Lucius was not a willing follower of the Dark Lord, he was forced to take the Dark Mark by his father and grandfather, in order to protect me, as well as another person. The Dark Lord mainly wanted continuing access to the Malfoy vaults, so Lucius wasn't forced to act very often, but he was still under the Imperious on different occasions.”
Harry sat up straight and leaned forward, about to object, when she put up her hand, “I know what you are going to say, that he wasn't under the Imperious when he slipped that diary into the Weasley girl's cauldron, correct?” He nodded, and she continued, “There were actually extremely strong compulsions on that damned thing, as well as several other items that the Dark Lord had entrusted to Lucius's keeping. After losing Dobby, who had been Lucius' elf since he was a little boy, it was enough to get a team of curse breakers to examine everything in the Manor. To say we were unhappy about what they found was putting it mildly.”
Harry paused, thinking, he had to admit that Lucius was fairly polite at the Quidditch World Cup, and he had been very visible standing with the Minister when the Death Eaters had attacked, which had been a bit of a surprise, honestly. But if what Narcissa is saying is true, that could explain it.
“Okay, so your husband isn't on Team Riddle any longer, let's say I buy that for a knut, what does that have to do with a coven forming?”
“Isn't it obvious? The Dark Lord is attempting to return to physical form, and I wouldn't be surprised if your being entered in this Tournament is part of that. By having a coven of witches to draw on, they can give you power to defend yourself, and hopefully end the threat permanently. Not to mention, three of the witches who have joined you so far have access to types of magic that you aren't familiar with, and neither is the Dark Lord, which is another huge benefit.”
Sirius spoke up at this point, “I know that it may be hard to believe what she's saying about Lucius, I know that I was skeptical as hell, but I've actually met Lucius and his Mistress, and she's a muggleborn! Andrea was the other person that Lucius was protecting by taking the Dark Mark, he's given me an oath that he had never been a willing follower of Riddle. And before you ask, Draco has no idea about any of this, and you aren't going to be the one to tell him, no matter entertaining it would be, understood?”
Harry stared at his godfather, trying to process what the man had just said, Lucius Malfoy with a muggleborn? What the hell? No, no, not going to try and understand that right now. But, if Lucius has a mistress, that might explain why Narcissa is able to spend so much time with Sirius.
Turning to his honorary uncle, Harry said, “You've been awful quiet, Moony, nothing to say?”
Remus shook his head, “I just found out about this earlier today, so I'm still trying to adjust. I don't blame you for being shocked, so am I!”
Narcissa gave the other man an apologetic look and said, “I'm sorry about that, but we needed to wait until Harry and Draco were both temporarily out of Dumbledore and Snape's influence, because neither of them can be trusted with Lucius' true loyalties. Dumbledore would try to use Lucius to further his own goals, and Severus, well, he may have claimed to have been a spy during the war, but there are plenty of reasons to doubt him.”
Harry snorted, “I couldn't believe that people really believed him to be a spy. If he was, he's got to be the worst spy in the history of the world! And it makes me wonder if Dumbledore is going senile if he really trusts that greasy bastard!”
Narcissa shook her head, “Don't underestimate the Headmaster, Harry. He may act like a foolish old man, but he doesn't miss much, if anything, that's going on around him. Even when Lucius forced him out of Hogwarts two years ago, I'm fairly certain he left because it suited his purposes. What they are, I don't know, but I do know that I don't trust him. You can make up your own mind, but pay attention to what he says, and what he actually does. You might be surprised.”
Before Harry could say anything, Sirius spoke up again, “Not trusting Dumbledore or Snape was the main reason we didn't tell either of you before now. We were originally just going to give you a crash course in protecting your mind over the holiday, but with the coven forming, you should invite all of the girls, and their families of course, over for New Years Eve. We can test their shields, if they have any, or teach them what we are teaching you.” The old mutt grinned, “Of course, the girls invitation would be to stay the night, since the birth of the New Year would be an excellent time to perform the coven ritual.”
Harry nodded, but then he yawned widely. “Sorry about that, but can we talk about this in the morning? It just hit me how tired I am, and I really need some sleep.”
The others grinned and nodded, and Harry headed up to his room, falling asleep almost instantly.
His dreams started pleasantly, replaying his time with Parvati, and then with Parvati and Hermione in the Prefects Bath, but then things changed. He was pulled away from the girls, and he was looking through someone else's eyes, staring at a figure he didn't recognize writhing on the floor under his wand.
“You've failed me, Barty! Your orders were to ensure that the boy ignored his date, and any other female who tried to get his attention! You knew how important his purity is to the ritual, and now it's useless because you allowed yourself to get distracted, indulging your perversions! Avada Kedavra!”
The green light hit the figure on the floor and who ever it was stopped moving suddenly.
In his bedroom, Harry sat up with start, “What the bloody fuck was that?”
