S T O R Y

It’s a dark Tuesday night as we see Dex scouting a warehouse in the Chinese harbor district. Using his newly bought binoculars, it almost looks as if he knows what he’s doing - like a hero in a spy movie or something.
He heard rumors that there would be a human trafficking operation tonight. A shipment of abducted Chinese women was arriving, so they said, to be sold across the country as free workers. And since Dex is a hero, surely he must do SOMETHING about that...
Maybe coming to this place on his own was getting in a bit over his head, but Dex knew that he might be those trafficked women’s only hope for freedom.
The mobster guarding the gate is distracted as a truck comes in to deliver some goods. Seeing his opportunity, Dex quickly moves to the side of the building where he spots an open window.
Scrabbling up the side of a dumpster and shimmying across a rain gutter, Dex manages to clumsily get himself into one of the buildings. It doesn't look as professional as how he imagined with his binoculars, but it doesn't matter. This isn't some action movie, after all.
