Shooting with Skye Bluth out in the wild felt like capturing a scene straight out of a western dream. The saguaro cacti, that insane golden-hour glow, and Skye’s attitude all came together perfectly.
For this shot, I hit the flash just right to keep the sunset colors alive while making Skye pop against the landscape. The balance of ambient and artificial light is everything in these moments—too much flash, and you lose that dreamy sky; too little, and the details get lost. Finding that sweet spot was key, and I think it turned out 🔥.
