Unneeded and uncalled for? Celebi is basically the Pokemon version of a Doctor Who Time Lord. A Celebi will always be flitting about in time pulling on dozens or hundreds of threads at a time to weave things together. For all we know, Celebi saw the alternate futures of how things would go if he had given Brock prep time and this way was the better choice.

2026-02-04 04:34:09 +0000 UTCBrock handled Celebi better than I would have. By the end of this, I would have been seriously trying to hurt Celebi. Not for taking Brock, I could get that, but for how Celebi dumped him with no warning or prep from one situation to another. Not even the 1 pokemon issue, but of not telling him what to expect, or letting him plan ahead or get materials such as berries. That was unneeded and uncalled for by Celebi. "Just a prank" gone way too far.

I think reportings of a Sir Boulder sighting, where Sir Boulder assisted people on the other side of the war for no known reason, would cause Oak to reevaluate how they are fighting the war. Make him reconsider the war and it's purpose. Because really, why were they going to such extremes that killing everyone in a (presumably) civilian town with no military advantage seemed reasonable? Remember, it was that town burning down which caused Oak to push for Kanto and Johto to become Indigo. It was how he treated the people in that town - people who would be on the other side of the war - that gave Oak the political power to actually start building Indigo. This wasn't just some random town in the war that Brock fought to defend. It was *the* town that changed everything.

Although given what Broc witnessed I think he would definitely make Blaine more of a priority. I am surprised as a watcher of the cartoons shouldn’t Brock have an idea of Madame Bossu, Giovanni’s mother. At the very least that she exists. Even with the plastic surgery her original identity would exist and the financials related to it that would invariably be linked with her current persona.

Rumors of Brock taking a bad loss, Team Rocket setting out for a new land, Sam and Blaine connecting some old dots. And of course Sabrina being best girl. Each of these could go on into so much more...
