Babymetal - 02 Arena 2025 Full Reaction

You said about it being a small stage and not too elaborate. You missed that the middle section was raised right up high for some songs with screens right across the front of it blending in with the huge screens behind them. The O2 is London's largest indoor venue with a capacity of 20,000 ... it was sold out. Ticket prices varied of course, I got good seats about 4 rows back near to the smaller second stage at the end of the catwalk and with fees etc they were about £78 each. We got 2 more songs than all the other shows on the tour with 'Sunset Kiss' and 'IDZ' - I was hoping for IDZ as it was the tour finale and it was being filmed for the BluRay (this was the Wowow live stream so they cut 2 songs (Kon Kon and Headbanger) and I was so happy when the intro started - this was the 5th time I've seen them, it was the first time I've seen that song live. Su's speech at the end was so heartfelt - they still look back on Sonisphere 2014 as the moment they were accepted into the metal world and how the UK crowd there responded to their music gave them the confidence to go on and to follow their own path.

Ticketing for international tours is pretty normal. In the US you just buy your tickets through TicketMaster or LiveNation. There are usually about 10 different levels of ticket from VIP 0, where you get first entry, special merch, etc. to general admission. If it is a seated venue you have to be on your toes to get good seats.

Actually PIA is only around 12,000, one of the smaller venues. You are thinking of Tokyo Dome which held 55,000.

Actually the venue is about the same size of many of the Japanese venues which are around 20,000. But yes the stage was smaller and less elaborate than some Japanese shows. But for an international show the stage and pyro was actually pretty complex.

This is special arena show at O2 Arena in London on May 30th 2025, that ended the European Arena Tour before start the North America Tour. I was there; they played also Kon Kon and Headbanger, but, because this is a WOW WOW stream, Wow Wow cut these song I think because a Blu Ray release coming soon. It was a phenomenal concert.

This refreshes my memories at my first BabyMetal concert this year and the wonderful unforgetable experience it was. If you have the chance to go to one of their shows, DO IT ! In Berlin they played the first time ever „From Me To U“ with participation of Poppy on stage and it was the biggest and most spectacular surprise of the show. At that moment I became a fan of Poppy, she impresses me before at her opener concert for BabyMetal but the performance of the collab song was a banger as you could see. IMO Poppy is live much better than her Mvs. In Berlin they played also „Kon! Kon!“ but without Bloodywood instead of this they played the new collab song with Polyphia „Sunset Kiss“ here in London. The capacity of the O² arena is 20 000 in Berlin Velodrom it have bin 16 000. I think this is the normal size for BabyMetal concerts, but at PIA Arena it have bin 2 x 55 000 people, so this is also possible for BabyMetal. Independent from the crowd, I think the Japan-Shows are a level higher in production and arrangement than any of the Europe or America shows, lets see what surprises they get for us in the special LA-Show in November. THE ONE worldwide knows what to do, to sing or to act for every single BabyMetal song. It is so impressiv to see and hear it live, when thousands and thousands of people support their beloved band with their energy and enthusiasm. But for sure the intensity depends with the mentality of the contry. I like it, when people invest the time to react to full shows. I think it is a total different experience and impression, than a reaction to a song as a cut-out of a show. 🦊🦊🦊 For The Fox-God 🦊🦊🦊
