You Asked, I Answered! Quinn 500k Celebration Ask Me (Almost) Anything Responses (with timestamps!)
Added 2025-02-28 22:00:06 +0000 UTCBack in December, I reached some pretty significant milestones on Quinn (500k total listens and over 3 million minutes of listening time in 2024), so I thought we'd celebrate by doing an AMA. Y'all sent in 70+ questions, and after taking out a few that I wasn't comfortable answering, here's the result. I haven't counted, but I think there's still 60ish questions left. That's a lot of questions!

Here's the completed AMA, complete with timestamps (shout out to my wonderful Beta Listener for the timestamps!). Questions aren't in any particular order, and are copied and pasted directly from the form as they were. There are no names given anywhere, and I didn't look at who asked what when pasting the questions.
These are unfiltered, unedited (minor noise reduction aside), and as candid as I can be. It's a little chaotic, since I went into this as blind as possible. Derpy even makes an appearance! The questions were sorted so duplicates could be answered together, and some were removed for my comfort, but other than that, there was no preparation. This is me in all my weird and quirky glory. 😆😆

The first thing that really hit home with me when you talked about it was the pacing when "talking" to someone else, its SOOOOOOOO important (atleast to me) and elevates an audio so much more when it feels like a natural conversation, the difference between an ok and a great audio often comes down to the pacing of the conversation for me. Its so noticeable when you realize that someone is just rattling down a script they have infront of them vs actually "holding" a conversation while reading the script its a night and day difference.

Everyone’s questions were honestly so interesting & I enjoyed hearing the answers to them all💖 I loved listening to you explain all the ways you have had to reframe your mindsets, which can be one of the hardest things to do & put into practice, it’s for sure still something I am forever participating in. We have the same personality type so that was fun to learn 😆 Your voice being a favourite feature of yours is so valid. Being as captivating as it is, I’m now unable to listen to other VAs.
