Question of the Week: March 10th, 2022

Let's see if we can do this on time this week, shall we?

Last week's post was a little late, but we got the job done. If you haven't had a chance to answer that one yet, do check it out. It's a good one! A huge thank you to everyone who shared an answer! One of my favourite parts of the week is getting to read your responses to these posts.

Here's what we have for this week:

๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ If you could have a unique skill from any animal, what would it be and why? ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

Animals can do so many amazing things, and y'all are so creative, I'm looking forward to reading your answers to this one!

Have fun!

The ability to clone ourselves for immortality is a really interesting concept, that's for sure! But would you only want it for that purpose, or would you want to be able to clone yourself before the end of your life, for other reasons? I don't know about you, but I could use a clone some days just to get all my work done! ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜Š For real, though, this would be a really amazing skill to have! Thanks for sharing! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

Oh wow, this is a great choice, Jim! Being able to fly like one of these birds would give you so many skills, all at once - speed, agility, and most likely really good eyesight. If one person had all these skills, they'd be bordering on superhero territory, I think? Pretty epic! And they're beautiful birds, too, especially with their wings extended. Definitely a great choice! Thanks for sharing! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

There is a kind of jellyfish, that lives beneath the one kilometre mark of the ocean called a "Siphonophorae". They have the ability to just clone themselves, when their time is up and are virtually immortal... I think that could be fun for a while :D

I would love to be able to fly like a peregrine falcon - they are the fastest living things on Earth. They climb to altitudes of over a kilometer to spot prey and dive at it, and hit speeds of over 325 kph in their dives; they are agile in the air and can reach over 100 kph in level flight. Sometimes they fly level at that speed just above the ground to sneak up on prey and ambush them.
