I outright cracked up out loud at "we sh'd orrer a *pizza*!" and couldn't stop melting at the rest. That whole first scene was just pitch-perfect, nailing the lovable/believable awkwardness and setting some beautiful groundwork for everything else to come. The premise could have really gone wrong if it was too silly or too sloppy or too rushed, but nope - with the shower break, the patient pacing and the change to tipsy-yet-sensible after time passes, you make the space for a more believable progression and show that what happens is sincere rather than just impulsive. 'scuse me while I melt over here.
