This week has been rough so we're revisiting prettier days. (Also, I got the image late last night.) My daytime hustle has been crazy, my side hustle has been really busy, and I haven't felt very inspired lately. I'm thinking that all that other stuff has been sucking my creative juices dry. Oh yeah, I had oral surgery about a week and a half ago. (I keep forgetting about that.)
Future burlesque acts are investments for me. I want to give you my best so I have to create my best. There's pressure.
Mr. Snapper helped me find my way over lunch today, cultivating a breakthrough over french fries. I felt brighter about my creative prospects than I have in a few weeks. I also ordered a piece that should help guide the costume part of the process, and he solved my music woes.
I've been supporting another creator on Patreon lately because her costume tips and tricks inspire me. (I think she's just a costumer, not a performer who also makes costumes.) I've learned a lot in the past month that I can readily incorporate into my next acts. That's pretty exciting. I'm very skilled with costume design and construction, but there are still things that I don't know.
And on the happiness front, I'm stepping into the pinup world a bit more than I did before 2019. I have a mentor to guide me along the process and help me prep for events. She also encouraged me to submit for another magazine (besides Bachelor Pad Magazine), and they plan to publish me in their winter issue. That's pretty cool.
As always, I appreciate your support. More ridiculousness to come!
