Moving forward, leaving things behind
Added 2018-02-21 23:32:40 +0000 UTCI almost called the post "leafing things behind," but I remembered how much I hate that the team is called Toronto Maple Leafs instead of Toronto Maple Leaves. It bothers me every time the Kings play them. Leafs suck!

A couple weeks ago I said goodbye to the Southwest Burlesque Showcase as the festival closed. That's two festivals I've done closing shop within two months of each other. So honored to join them for the last one. I performed at the festival in Albuquerque four times over the years. Of course, I spent less than 18 hours there because of a flight cancellation. I just have to book another gig there so I can get my green chile fix.
I also said goodbye to the right side of my boy dog's jaw. I've been in pet parent mode for most of the month. He's recovering so well. :)
In a few weeks I'm venturing up to Alaska to pop my performance cherry there. I'm so gleeful about it. I booked a mushing excursion so I can ride with dogs so I'll share that experience with you.
When I return from Alaska, I'm performing at All Con in Dallas. Fan boys are in my demographic. I'm also performing at the big Star Wars weekend of shows in May in Dallas (May the Fourth Be With You and Revenge of the Sixth). I have a couple costumes to build for that!
