It's killing me to not share the details of my latest number-- the one for the Golden Legend competition. Seriously. I've been creating some very clever costume pieces. I worked on shaping the act with Coco Lectric. I'm dancing to such a catchy song.
Dammit! I really hope they shoot video at this thing.
Some personal developments as a performer I can share that don't spill the full beans: I've been working on sections of the act randomly and to the wrong music. It's easy for me to get up from my chair during the day and work a section with a handy costume piece. I'm trying to capture my movement impulses and keep it fluid, completing every movement. I think I may spend some time in the studio over the next couple weeks to see if the living room moments and visions in my head actually match up with what the audience will see.
