Caught Smoking
Added 2018-07-23 17:27:00 +0000 UTCHannah, Colby, and Callie had a free period, and decided to go out to the side courtyard. It was rarely used because it was so close to the street. Students considered it to be less than ideal for studying and having quiet conversations.
However, the seclusion is what they wanted, Hannah especially, as she was really jonesing for a cigarette. Colby and Callie weren't really smokers, but did occasionally have one with their friend. Today was just such an occasion.
Throwing caution to the wind, they started paying more attention to their conversation and less to the door. They did not see old Mrs. "Sourpuss" Stanton standing behind them witnessing the three of them talking, laughing, and taking the occasional drag off of their illicit cigarettes in clear violation of school policy.
"Ahem!" she said loudly, startling all three. They reflexively dropped their smokes, stepping them out, but they all knew. They were stone cold busted! And soon, their bottoms would be as well!
