Outside the studio window there were small factory buildings and a gray road. In order not to ruin such a refined image, and this very atmosphere of calm and privacy, it was decided to CUT OUT EVERYTHING EXTRA.
I think the forest and mountains fit perfectly with the mansion where Rem works! If you look closely, you can ask yourself - what is she waiting for? Or is she looking somewhere? Maybe she was just lost in thought during her morning cleaning (that's not like her)?
A simple photo, but if you look at it and think about it - you can find many answers! Or, find a couple more additional questions.
