Next Video Update! Plans for the Rest of 2021! (Maybe!)

As I've mentioned in some of the previous updates, the next big video is Sonic Adventure, which was a video I was hoping to have out by the 30th. I think that may move back a week, because in the process of recording that game, I...I 100%ed it. That's a first for Sonic Adventure for me, as somebody who's never been a huge fan of the Adventure games, but it's an indicator of how this video's likely gonna go! It also meant that I took another day or two longer than I'd anticipated - and this messed up the pipeline likely a bit more than just a day or two, due to some prior obligations.
What this means for you is that if SA1 does move back a bit and there isn't a September video, there should be two in October to make it up! I don't like the idea that you're being charged for a month with no videos to show for it, so I'll just work extra hard to make that up with Crack in Time. There's always a chance that changes of course; I'm going to TooManyGames in October, and even with all the precautions I'll be taking, there's a chance some sort of convention fever kicks me for a few days.
Once CiT is in production I'll be roping some friends together to play All 4 One, to get a head-start on the A4O/Full Frontal Assault video; that'll be December's video if all goes as planned. For November, I'm playing it by ear right now: If the SA1 video shows there's enough demand, I'll probably prepare myself for Adventure 2. If there's not that much interest, I'll figure something else out for that video, maybe just a shorter one for my sanity's sake.
That said, if you've got some specific games (not Jak, don't say Jak, we'll get there) that you'd like to see me cover, let me know! I'm always looking for ways to give the Patreon fam some extra input. I'd like to try and tackle some Zelda or Pokémon sooner than later, but I know those will be larger projects so I'm mentally preparing to save them until Ratchet's finished up.

2021-09-23 20:45:30 +0000 UTCAs one of the few owners of Rodea Wii U + Wii, I'm very interesting in giving it a proper look one day. It's the kind of unsuccessful-but-not-cult game, however, that I think is more worth that effort down the road, once we've got a known floor for viewership/algorithm recommendations per video. I'd hate to put a ton of time into that video only for it to die because it's TOO unknown, y'know?

2021-09-23 19:14:36 +0000 UTCI would say Metroid Prime again but I think that's be too obvious. So instead I was curious if you'd be up for a Rodea the Sky Soldier retrospective. I find that whole ordeal utterly fascinating and not the least bit contemptible.
