Hello Horny People!
Ah, we're so eager to share the first gameplay snippet with you! We want so much to show you our characters in action and share information that will make you red hot! But before that, we're getting the most boring, tedious things out of the way first, and we're fine-tuning elements that need to be in the game but don't seem to be that exciting now. Still, every day brings us closer to making Komadori Inn a great game, and that's the most important thing for us. So what have we been working on lately?
Portraits
I've mentioned them a few times already and we have the groundwork ready for our main cast.

Thanks to this, we can finish the already working dialogue system and supplement it with fully working portraits, which will change outfits depending on what a given character is wearing. As I also wrote in the first announcements of Komadori Inn, we also want to supplement this system with the ability to display several portraits at once, up to four characters during one conversation.

Systems, tutorials, sounds and music
Many hours have gone into fine-tuning the controls of the first elements of the game so that all actions can be performed equally well with a keyboard, pad and mouse.
We also decided to prepare a fully working tutorial that will be included in the full release of the game. Systems of gaining experience points, money and statistics were also created.
Everything is supplemented with the necessary sounds and music.
This way, when you receive the first versions of the gameplay, you will be able to feel the target quality of the full game.
Options, menu
When preparing the basic functions of the game, we couldn't skip the menus and options. I know, not very exciting, but very important.

New maps
Keeping the main story in mind, we also add all the elements that will be needed at the beginning of the game. That is why more locations have been created, which you will visit right after the game starts.
Below is a general store and a bus stop area.

First illustration and animation
Probably what you are looking forward to the most. Yes, we've already started working on that too!
Although the first illustration is ready, to dose the excitement slowly, below is its sketch.

Based on the size, you can probably tell that Fuyuko-san will be the object of this scene.
This will be a short cutscene that players will see shortly after reaching the Komadori Inn. And yes, it will be animated, which we are already working on. We've been spending a lot of hours honing our animation skills lately to bring you the smoothest and most mouth watering experience 2D animation can get! Progress will be shared here, so stay tuned!
