Hmm interesting. I feel like maybe I might be a bit of a perfectionist not to an insane degree though there are plenty of things that I do my best at and I'm fine with whatever the result is but there are some things that stick in my head for awhile before I just let it go.

A perfectionist have a very high standards, a rigidity of standards and a performance-related self-esteem. To distinguish perfectionism from high conscientiousness. As BacE said, an inferiority complex can be the beginning, but also experience as adult can lead to this...way of life.

2022-12-09 17:28:59 +0000 UTCWow I take it her parents really pressure her to succeed. I mean I agree with the friend and A- is still an A but she views it as the worst thing ever. I have heard of parents that make their kids like this and to me that can all get kicked in the face.
