Why I'm confused at the moment

as you have probably noticed in the last week, I am currently not quite at my best. I am sincerely sorry for this and would like to explain why.
Currently, besides my work as an artist here on Patreon, I have other things to do. So I have taken over the honorary chairmanship of a political party in my hometown where I am currently familiarizing myself and coordinate, which so far worked great in addition to my work as an artist.
Unfortunately, however, last week my seriously ill father came in the night from Thursday to Friday as an emergency in the hospital, where he wrestled with death until Tuesday. Fortunately, the situation eased yesterday and he is now hopefully on the road to recovery.
However, since I am his legally appointed guardian, I was immediately called in and since then, in addition to the administrative things (Germany is the land of stiff bureaucracy), I am still struggling with his wife, since she represents other views than my father or I and wants to enforce them at any price.
Since my father does not live with me in the area, I am not only struggling with the care for my father but commute every day a total of over 300 km back and forth, phone calls with the chief physician, the health insurance, various nursing homes or beat me around with documents that pile up with me.
Therefore, it can currently come to errors, both in the comics as well as in the texts or in the answers that I give you. But since I don't want you to be left empty-handed until my vacation the week after next, I'll do my best to finish and upload all the work as usual.

2022-12-16 00:30:04 +0000 UTCThank you my friend, those are hard times, no matter where we all live. The recovery of my dad had a massive break in last friday and I feel deeply exhausted. But I will finish the projects for next week and then I will take some times to shut down. I often think that an On/Off Switch for my brain would be an massive update.

Anybody in your situation should be allowed to take a breake from having to satisfy us so that everything in RL can function. If things in RL aren't going well this which i hope is a fun hobby becomes a stressful extra job which shouldn't be the case. I can't speak for everybody but on my behalf i say go on holiday now and focus on what's important in life right now😁. Real fans of your work will stick around til everything is sorted out Happy Holidays, I'm sorry to hear about your dad but glad he's in recovery. I'm sure everything will turn around for the better in the end
