Did you noticed how Oda made Fishman Island to be kinda the reverse-parallel arc of Skipiea - One is placed 10 km up in the Sky, while the other is 10km under the red line - On both arcs a villan end up using huge ass ships to try to destroy the whole island. - Both main villans have some kind of superiority complex over humans, one thinks hes God the other thinks his race is supperior. - Both Islands have a phoneglyp that we actually get to know part of the content of thanks to Robin. - Both civilizations have a "desire" for something, Skipieans wanted to recover the "Vearht" (which was the only piece of earth where they could germinate plants) and Fishmans want to live under the sun and be treated as equals with humans. - Both have a "broken" promise between 2 people from the island in the past, Noland and Calgura broken promise on their friendship to keep ringing the bell so they can find their way back, and Fishman Island has the apology letter that Robin mention between Joyboy and the mermaid princes back in the void century ... - That promise was eventually fulfilled by Luffy on Skipiea, so ... (theory time) who knows maybe one day Luffy will also be the one to fullfil the "promise" Joyboy made with the Mermaid Princes and maybe that's related to the prophecy that Madamme Sharly saw? (Arlong's sister) And this one is just a "thought" that can be made if you noticed some of the previous point, but notice how basically both civilization "desires" could be easily "fixed" or achieved if they got to live on the surface with everyone else... 🥲

2025-10-15 14:52:16 +0000 UTCThe three ancient weapons are all named after greek gods. Posidon was the ancient Greek god of the sea, storms, earthquakes, and horses. Uranus was the Greek primordial god of the sky and the personification of the heavens. Plouton was the Greek divine ruler of the underworld. I admit that before looking them up just now I was only familiar with Posidon, and knew of Uranus because of the sub-planet named after it.
