So...the founding fathers were fishmen. Would that make the new fishman pirates federalists?

Benjamin Franklin is about to tear them up! Lol

"Dosun" is the Japanese onomatopoeia for a heavy "thud", like a hammer hitting something. That's his default, but he changes the word depending on his "energy level".

I've never thought about it before but is Dosun a word that describes levels of strength? From context im guessing that but unsure. 🤔😅

Oda is not only writing the best story in all of human history, but the best puns as well. I only just got that too

We all know Oda's genius, but when you research the actual animals the fishmen are based on... Hordy is a great white shark, the top of the food chain, and his main crew are expertly designed, Zeo is a Japanese wobbegong which is a camouflaging shark in real life that spends its time on the sea floor (might be why he was on the floor while invisible XD), Dosun is a hammerhead shark, Daruma with his munching tendencies is a cookie cutter shark which really do bite everything in real life. Ikaros is a giant squid fishman, in real life known to pick fights with even sperm whales. And my favourite - Hyouzou is a BLUE RINGED octopus arguably the most venomous animal ON EARTH, with enough venom to kill 26 humans in MINUTES and there is NO ANTIDOTE in real life, hence why he's so confident in his venom in the anime... round of applause for Oda who is also a marine biologist apparently....

I can't believe that I only just got that Ikaros and his friend Daidalos are references to Icarus and Daedalus, and flying too close to the sun.
