All sense of purity was lost by the end of this episode πŸ₯Ί

Askeladd being the motivation for Thorfinn getting stronger is so good. And I have a feeling that Askeladd in a way already fond of Thorfinn. Please just don't die in the future protecting him or something like that (idk it seems like a common pattern 😭). I never expected Ylva to be that strong tho lol I guess it's expected since she's Thors' kid. It's so sad seeing her trying to distract herself, but I relieved that the crew was alive and the news arrived to Thors' family. I don't know, before this episode I was like, so afraid that the crew dead along the way and Thors and Thorfinn's fate left unknown among the villager. Can't wait to watch next episode!

Ylva and Thorfinn need lots of hugs 😒

Askeladd is amazing, we need more morally grey characters like him in anime.

Alright, not sure why I suddenly want to contribute to the conversation but Ig this show brings it out of me loll So when he said Thors was naive I think he was probably referring to how Thors might have thought that the pirates would be more honorable or more likely that he could solve that issue by not killing anyone (mainly Askeladd) I think Bjorn repescts Thors strength (and possibly character) but can't necessarily understand his morals/values and deems his actions or thought process naive?? I mean that's just how I interpreted it ofc so it could be wrong! I really just love the characters in this show... I relate to y'all's reactions of Thorfinn. When I first watched this I was SO sad watching him have to provide for himself and train so seriously like that when he's literally still a baby... And I also felt like I did not want that for him at all. Like usually, you want to root for a young main character to accomplish their goals but upon my first watch, I did not find myself necessarily rooting for him to get revenge but just feeling sad that he had to or feels like he has to at all. Which is why I love this show, it truly gives me a different feeling from a lot of other anime series I have watched! (sorry for the essay of a comment lol)
