2025-07-20 13:40:34 +0000 UTCThe hunting one made me think of the obscure 2001 movie "Escanaba in da Moonlight" starring Jeff Daniels. Two quotes that stick with me are, "its a simple thing, bring your gun up, put your finger on the trigger, take a deep breath to steady your nerves..." and "all good things come to those who shoot straight". And of course has to be said in a Yooper accent. Which is basically a mix between a Minnesota and a Canadian accent. As a Michigander its a solid comedy movie about a 43 year old hunter who has never been able to bag a buck.
